Estonia says Russian special services ordered an arson attack on Milrem Robotics, a defence company in Tallinn that supplies Ukraine with unmanned military vehicles. The accusation adds to concerns about alleged Russian sabotage across Europe, while EU and Nato leaders say such incidents will not weaken their support for Ukraine; Russia denies involvement.

The fire took place on the night of 14–15 August. Estonia says three Latvian suspects, who had lived in Russia and were linked to previous attacks, were arrested in Latvia and extradited to Estonia earlier this month. Estonia’s security service described it as the country’s first successful Russian-directed attack this year, amid other suspected incidents in several European countries.
