Believe, the French digital music company, has appointed Marcela Moreira as its country director in Brazil, where she will oversee artist services, label and artist solutions, and TuneCore operations from the company's Rio de Janeiro office. The move underscores Believe's push to deepen its presence in Brazil, one of the world's most significant music markets, while reinforcing its stated commitment to increasing female representation in senior music-industry roles.

Moreira brings prior experience from Sony Music and Warner Music, having held positions in Brazil, London and Miami. In her new role, she will work to grow Believe's footprint across key markets and support artists on its roster, including Nattan, Flipe Amorim and Taty Girl. Alejandra Olea, managing director of Believe Americas, said Moreira's national and international experience would help accelerate the company's growth in Brazil.
