Fiancée defends partner who allegedly recruited creep to sexually assault her — claims he never agreed to ‘role play scenario’
Arizona prosecutors allege Zarian Dyer recruited Adrian Ayala to break into his fiancée Bella Torres’s home and sexually assault her. Torres told a court Dyer was innocent and said he was out buying groceries when Ayala attacked, while Ayala’s lawyer claims the incident was intended as consensual role play. The case matters because investigators say messages contradict that defence.
Torres said she and her 17-month-old daughter went to the door after a security alert, expecting Dyer, but found Ayala, who allegedly forced his way in and attacked her and kicked the child. Charging documents cite Reddit messages in which Ayala asked whether Torres would know about the plan and was reportedly told “nope”; the sender allegedly urged him to proceed and leave if it went wrong. Dyer faces charges including aggravated assault, sexual abuse, attempted sexual assault, kidnapping and conspiracy; Ayala faces kidnapping, sexual abuse, burglary and aggravated assault.
