Former Walt Disney Imagineering President Bob Weis Signs With WME for Representation
Following his retirement in 2022, Bob Weis—who led Disney's Imagineering division—has secured representation through the WME talent agency. The agents handling Weis emphasise his credentials as a creative thinker and business leader, signalling interest in expanding his professional activities beyond his Disney career. Weis rose through the ranks over four decades, starting with entry-level work at Disneyland whilst in university and eventually becoming Imagineering president from 2016 to 2022, directing development on iconic international theme parks including Tokyo Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland.
Since leaving his executive role, Weis has remained professionally engaged through writing and public appearances. He published a major memoir in 2024 documenting his Disney years, with former CEO Bob Iger providing a foreword, and is developing additional book projects scheduled for release in 2027. He is scheduled to participate in D23, Disney's fan convention, this month for book signings and speaking engagements.
