Fox’s ‘Doc’ Officially Adds a Scene-Stealer in Season 3

Fox’s medical drama *Doc* has added Kolton Stewart as Kyle Ferguson, the youngest intern at Westside Hospital, in its third season. The character is already becoming a noticeable presence alongside the established doctors, bringing a prodigy’s book knowledge and earnestness to the hospital’s fast-moving work.

Kyle was homeschooled and is portrayed as brilliant but still learning how to apply theory in practice. In the episode “Facade”, he joins Amy and Jake in treating a former drug mule in witness protection whose life is at risk after years of abuse and a botched operation. The case takes the team to the hospital’s closed fourth floor, where Kyle makes an impression on Amy and demonstrates his development during a difficult procedure.
