FRANK BELLO: ‘ANTHRAX Is In A Really Good Place As A Band’ Right Now

Blabbermouth · 3 hours ago

ANTHRAX bassist Frank Bello has said the band is "in a really good place" after four decades together, describing the group's dynamic as a marriage or family that has endured plenty of arguments and disagreements over the years. Speaking on the BREWtally Speaking Podcast, he credited the band's longevity to learning to step back, listen to each other's viewpoints and prioritise the music over personal friction, adding that performing on stage together remains an unmatched feeling for him.

Bello's comments come as ANTHRAX prepares to release its new album, "Cursum Perficio", on 18th September, the band's first record in ten years. He said reaction to the first three singles has been overwhelmingly positive, with the band humbled by the response and encouraged by a growing wave of new, younger fans discovering their music.
