From star births to The Black Dog: What to expect at Festival of the Mind 2026
The University of Sheffield’s Festival of the Mind returns to city centre venues from 6 to 15 November 2026, bringing academic research together with artists and performers. Since launching in 2012, it has attracted more than 200,000 visitors. This edition also marks the departure of co-founder and director Professor Vanessa Toulmin, who is stepping down after 15 years.
