Scott Vickers will direct “Nozem”, an Amsterdam-set gangland action thriller that begins filming in the Dutch capital next week. The film centres on Robbie, who joins the gang responsible for his parents’ murders in pursuit of revenge, but becomes entangled in a dangerous debt and the criminal world he intended to destroy.

Writer Buddy Boerkoel leads the cast alongside Daniel Fathers, Francesca van Neuren and Ibrahim Naji, with several supporting actors also confirmed. Its title means “Street Thug” in Dutch, and the story explores Amsterdam’s criminal underworld, drugs, power and traditional gang codes; Vickers described it as an ambitious action project with an experienced fight and stunt team.
