Eau Claire avant-rock band gash have released "risking heaven," the second single from their forthcoming album at least you know what you're laughing at. The track continues to build anticipation for the record, following the group's earlier single "good and bad," and offers a markedly different sound that showcases the band's range ahead of the album's release.

Unlike its more collage-based predecessor, "risking heaven" is a short, minute-long song built around acoustic guitar, eerie synths and bruised vocals from Logan Nyberg, dropping the screaming and brass featured elsewhere in the band's work. The accompanying video features imagery of eyeballs. The album at least you know what you're laughing at is due out on 25 September via Angel Tapes/Fire Talk and is available for pre-order.
