Georgia woman accused of killing ex-husband and his girlfriend in trailer
Grace Edge, 76, is accused of shooting dead her former husband, Wallace Edge, 75, and his girlfriend, Pamela Cook, 40, in a trailer in rural Toombs County, Georgia. Cook’s mother was wounded in the arm, and investigators say jealousy over the relationship may have contributed, though they have not established a definitive motive.
Deputies responded at about 2.30pm on Monday after Cook’s mother called 911. Authorities say five shots were fired; Edge allegedly drove straight to the sheriff’s office and surrendered. She and her ex-husband had divorced more than ten years earlier, and police had previously been called to their home repeatedly over disputes, but no arrests resulted.
