‘Ghosts’ Season 6 Officially Changes Everything With Major Plot Twist: “He’s Not Our Friend Anymore”

The sixth season of *Ghosts* opens with a Halloween special that shifts the story after Pete’s disappearance and introduces Hetty’s long-estranged sister, Margaret. The reunion prompts Hetty to reconsider a defining heartbreak, while the season’s larger plot also brings a major change to Pete’s relationship with the other ghosts.

Actress Rebecca Wisocky said the episode balances comedy with a more affecting story about how Hetty and Margaret’s futures were shaped by marriage and their inability to support one another. Maria Thayer plays Margaret; Wisocky had previously hoped Rose McIver might take the role. Asher Grodman, who plays Trevor, praised the show’s crew and said he enjoys episodes featuring flashbacks.
