Nintendo will bring Switch Sports Resort to San Diego Comic-Con, allowing visitors to experience four of the game's twelve sports through first-come, first-served queuing. The event will also feature spectator areas where fans can watch gameplay demonstrations and participate in accompanying recreational sporting activities hosted on the convention floor.

Players who try the game can enter a competitive challenge against online personality The Rizzler on the opening day, with participants selected randomly and no prizes offered. The game is scheduled to launch on the Switch 2 in October 2026, whilst Splatoon Raiders, also playable at Comic-Con, will release earlier that month.
