Google is launching a special-edition Pokémon Sleep version of its Fitbit Air, aimed at fans who want a wearable designed around the sleep-tracking game. It matters because the device combines Fitbit’s sleep monitoring with Pokémon Sleep’s rewards system, while adding Pokémon-themed styling rather than new hardware features.

The “Sleepy Blue” Fitbit Air includes a sleeping Pikachu print and otherwise matches the standard lightweight model. It syncs sleep data to Pokémon Sleep through Android’s Health Connect; users pair it in the app, then receive Pokémon matching their sleep type around Snorlax, whose strength is increased by their Sleep Score. Pre-orders open today through the Google Store and Target, shipping begins on 15 September, and the device includes three months of Google Health Premium with access to a Gemini-powered health coach.
