Goose’s Colorado House Party Show Got Shut Down by Police, But Not Before One Last Song

Consequence · 11 hours ago

Goose performed an unannounced, free seven-song set at a University of Colorado house party in Boulder, unexpectedly following local band Sunkissd. Police intervened during the band’s performance of “Animal”, bringing the show to an end before Goose could play the additional songs planned; the incident drew attention as an unusual informal launch to their Colorado dates.

The performance took place on Wednesday night ahead of five scheduled Colorado concerts, beginning at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on 27 August. Goose were due to return to Red Rocks the following day and on 1 September, with further appearances in Salt Lake City, Bellevue and Dillon; the band released its album BIG MODERN! earlier this year.

  • Goose’s surprise Boulder house-party set was stopped by police.
  • The band played seven songs before the shutdown.
  • The show preceded a run of Colorado concerts.
