GPT-6 is coming to all tiers of ChatGPT
OpenAI is rolling out GPT-6 to ChatGPT with a new feature called Intelligent UI that enables the model to return responses as interactive user interfaces rather than plain text. This capability allows ChatGPT to compose visual responses including graphics, buttons, forms, charts and interactive elements within the chatbot itself, making it easier for users to understand complex topics and create specialised tools for their needs. The model can also answer whilst still thinking, unlike other reasoning models, and decide when visuals are appropriate versus when text alone suffices.
The feature is rolling out immediately to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise subscribers, powered by GPT-6 Sol. Users with Free and Go accounts will receive access today, though they'll be powered by the less capable GPT-6 Luna variant. Examples of the Intelligent UI capability include interactive ingredient tables for meal planning, checklists, investment calculators, bill-splitting tools, and even retro games like Snake, all functioning within the ChatGPT interface itself.
- OpenAI launches GPT-6 with Intelligent UI for interactive responses
- Premium subscribers get GPT-6 Sol; free users get less-capable Luna variant
- Feature enables visualisations, tools and games within ChatGPT

ChatGPT is a chatbot made by OpenAI that has become widely used since its launch in late 2022. It uses artificial intelligence to answer questions, help with writing, solve problems and build applications, and millions of people use it either free or through paid subscriptions.
OpenAI periodically releases new versions of its underlying artificial intelligence model, numbered as GPT followed by a generation number. GPT-6 introduces a feature called Intelligent UI that allows ChatGPT to display responses as interactive visual elements such as graphics, buttons, forms and charts, rather than presenting information only as text.
This capability means ChatGPT can create interactive tools and visualisations within the chat itself for tasks that benefit from visual presentation, such as meal planners, calculators and checklists. It expands what ChatGPT can do by allowing it to present information in whichever format works best for the user's needs, whether text, graphics or interactive elements.
