The darkly comedic supernatural romance film "Thud" has finalised its cast, adding six actors to join leads Sarah Michelle Gellar and Rudy Pankow. Gellar stars as the Grim Reaper and Pankow as the Devil in a story that follows the pair as they wreak havoc at a three-day destination wedding while falling for one another. The film is directed by Mali Elfman from an original screenplay by Noga Pnueli, and has already wrapped principal photography in Los Angeles.

The six latest additions are former Saturday Night Live cast member Lauren Holt, Anna Akana, Kevin Bigley, Brian McElhaney, Brandon Scott and Vincent Rodriguez III, though their character details have not been disclosed. They join a previously announced cast including Piper Curda, Sujata Day, Sterling Sulieman, Steve Agee, Karan Soni, Dot-Marie Jones and Katie Parker. The indie production, backed by a California tax credit, is produced by Derek Bishé and David Grove Churchill Viste, with executive producers including teams from Helmstreet Productions, Divide/Conquer and Radio Silence.
