Watch Brandon Flowers debut new solo song ‘Diamonds On Black Velvet’ – cut from The Killers’ ‘Pressure Machine’

Brandon Flowers debuted ‘Diamonds On Black Velvet’, an unreleased solo song, during a Manchester show on his tour for ‘Thrasher’. The song was originally written for The Killers’ 2021 album ‘Pressure Machine’ but was left off because Flowers felt its romantic tone did not fit the record.

Flowers said ‘Thrasher’ is the first of two connected solo albums, with a more romantic, country-leaning follow-up already completed. The new song joins another unreleased track, ‘A Good Man Is Hard To Find’, which he has also performed on tour, though no release date has been confirmed.
