Halo Studios will release a PS5 update for Halo: Campaign Evolved next week, addressing several technical and gameplay problems. The patch matters because it targets bugs that can halt mission progress, improves enemy reactions, and adds visual settings players had been unable to adjust.

Among the fixes, Sgt. Johnson should no longer block progression in certain missions, while Jackals will react more reliably when shot in their exposed hands or feet. Marines and Flood-controlled Marines will use Assault Rifles properly with the Magnified Skull enabled, which gives the weapon 60-round magazines; players will also be able to disable chromatic aberration and film grain. The update includes broader stability improvements across multiple platforms.
