Hardware Review: SCUF Omega PS5 Controller – No-Frills Pro Controller Doesn’t Do Much to Impress

Push Square ·

SCUF’s Omega is a customisable, officially licensed PS5 and PC controller aimed at competitive players, but the review finds it underwhelming for its high price. Its clicky buttons, adjustable triggers and drift-resistant TMR thumbsticks suit fast-paced shooters, though the controller makes little impression overall.

It costs £209.99 or $219.99, rising to £229.99 or $229.99 with some custom options. It connects by cable or dongle on PS5 and Bluetooth on PC, and its app lets users remap controls, adjust stick deadzones and save three profiles. The reviewer also notes awkward switches beneath the faceplate and the absence of rumble and adaptive triggers.

In short

  • The Omega is capable but does little to justify its high price.
  • Clicky controls and TMR sticks work well for competitive shooters.
  • Customisation is extensive, though setup has some tedious steps.
