Harry Styles Honored by Jalen Brunson at Madison Square Garden, Receives 30 Nights Banner

The presentation came during Styles’s second Harryween performance, where he appeared dressed as a New York City rat and sang Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer”. The residency followed a 15-night MSG run in 2022, for which Styles also received a banner; his latest tour visited cities including Amsterdam, London, São Paulo and Mexico City before reaching New York.

Explained simply
Madison Square Garden is a major arena in New York that hosts concerts as well as basketball and other events. Harry Styles, the British singer who first became widely known as a member of One Direction, has performed there several times during his solo career.
A residency is a series of shows by the same artist at one venue, rather than a tour moving between locations. Styles played 15 nights at the Garden in 2022 and returned for a 30-night run in 2025, part of a tour that also visited cities around the world.
The Knicks are New York’s professional basketball team, and Jalen Brunson is their point guard. The banner recognises Styles’s extended run at the venue, which has become a notable part of his live career.
