‘Heated Rivalry’ Success Sparks New Publishing House From Gay Adult Entertainment Giant Falcon | NakedSword (EXCLUSIVE)
Falcon | NakedSword, the San Francisco-based gay adult entertainment company behind the hit series "Heated Rivalry," is expanding into publishing with a new erotic fiction imprint called FalconInk. The move comes just nine months after "Heated Rivalry" became a global success, and reflects the company's ambition to reach beyond its traditional audience, including women, who make up a large share of the M/M romance readership.
FalconInk will operate through three imprints: Falcon Books, NakedSword Books and Raging Stallion Books. It has already released two novellas, "Hard Ball" and "Wild Game: Open Season" (out 10 September), both available as paperbacks, ebooks and audiobooks narrated by adult performers. A launch party is planned for 29 August at Book Soup in West Hollywood, and executives say the venture will also serve as an incubator for future film and television adaptations.
