‘Heated Rivalry’ to Release in Movie Theaters, Two Episodes at a Time

Regal will bring all six episodes of the romance series “Heated Rivalry” to more than 650 US cinemas from 6 to 30 November. The limited run gives fans a chance to watch the hit series together on the big screen ahead of its second season, expected in 2027.

The episodes will be shown in three pairings, with each screening costing $9.99. Based on Rachel Reid’s novels, the series follows rival hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov as they fall in love in secret. Regal is working with Sphere Abacus, which plans screenings in North America, the UK, Australia and New Zealand; Regal sessions will include cast and director introductions.
