Developing story first seen 1 hour ago
Lego and Daft Punk have announced a collaboration spanning products, films and other brand experiences. Its centrepiece is a fan-designed set based on the pyramid stage from the duo’s 2007 “Alive” tour, bringing a distinctive part of their live show into Lego’s development process.
The design was created by a father and son in Belgium and won a Lego Ideas music competition in 2020; it has since received 10,000 supporters, allowing it to advance to the next development stage. The partnership also includes a 48-second film featuring Daft Punk as Lego Minifigures, with music drawing on “Discovery” and “Human After All”. Lego says further events and content are planned.
