Peripheral maker CRKD has unveiled three officially licensed Gibson guitar controllers to coincide with the launch of Stage Tour, a new rhythm game from RedOctane that arrives on PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S on 10 December. The move taps into nostalgia for the Guitar Hero era, with designs referencing classic and previously abandoned controller concepts, and the release is timed to give fans premium peripheral options alongside the game's official Kramer-branded guitar, drum kit and microphone.

The Stage Tour Pro Guitar Collection comprises a Gibson Les Paul Oxblood Edition, a Gibson SG Midnight Blue Edition and an 8K Gibson Explorer 20th Anniversary Edition, featuring Hall effect strum bars, mechanical frets, LED lighting and high polling rates (up to 8,000Hz for the Explorer). Prices range from roughly $110 to $130 depending on platform, with the Les Paul and SG shipping at launch in December and the Explorer following in mid-January. The announcement came alongside Gamescom's reveal of 20 further Stage Tour tracks, taking the confirmed setlist to 45 songs, with over 90 expected at launch.
