Holocaust Drama ‘The Night Of Broken Glass’, With Clive Owen, Mélanie Laurent & Alexander Pettyfer, Gets North American Deal
Quiver Distribution has acquired the North American rights to *The Night of Broken Glass*, a historical drama about the 1938 anti-Jewish pogrom known as Kristallnacht. The deal matters because it brings a film about a defining moment of Nazi persecution to cinemas across North America.
Directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky, the film stars Clive Owen as Berlin police lieutenant Wilhelm Krützfeld, alongside Alexander Pettyfer and Mélanie Laurent. Set over one night in November 1938, it follows Krützfeld and his partner as they investigate a Jewish doctor’s murder while Nazi propaganda fuels attacks and police are ordered to stand down. Quiver plans a North American theatrical release on 29 January.
