How AURORA & Bear McCreary Crafted a ‘Hauntingly Ethereal’ Love Song for Galadriel in ‘The Rings of Power’ Season 3

Composer Bear McCreary and Norwegian singer-songwriter AURORA have created “Morning Shall Come”, a song for the love story between Galadriel and Celeborn in season three of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The collaboration brings AURORA’s vocals into McCreary’s score as the series explores a more personal thread amid its expanding war.

The new season jumps forward several years, with Sauron’s forces outnumbering the Elves as he works to complete the One Ring. Morfydd Clark says the story reveals a different side of Galadriel, while Jamie Campbell Bower joins the cast as Celeborn. The season premieres on 11 November, and the song’s music video is due on Amazon Music on 6 November.
