How to get Astronaut Pikachu in Pokémon Go
Pokémon Go players can earn encounters with a special Astronaut Pikachu through an event linked to the European Space Agency. The collaboration gives the cosmetic outfit a space theme, and players have two main routes to try to add it to their collection.
One route is to complete the event’s five tasks, which provide rewards and a chance to encounter the Pokémon; the article does not specify the individual tasks or rewards. Players can also try raids, described as the easier route, and seek multiple encounters. A Shiny Astronaut Pikachu may appear in raids, but its stated odds are 1 in 64.

Pokémon Go is a free-to-play mobile game in which players find and catch Pokémon in real-world locations. The game regularly runs limited-time events that offer special Pokémon or outfits, giving players new things to collect.
Pikachu is one of the series’ best-known Pokémon, and its event outfits change its appearance without making it a different species. The European Space Agency is Europe’s organisation for space research and exploration; its link-up with the game gives this outfit a space theme.
These event collections can appeal to players who want distinctive or rare versions of familiar Pokémon. Shiny Pokémon have an alternate colour scheme and are usually harder to find than standard versions.
