Marvel Rivals players can unlock the Memento Mori achievement by performing an emote in front of Apocalypse's Sarcophagus, a landmark found only on the Thebes map. As with other map-specific achievements in the game, the task is complicated by the size of the maps and the fact that players cannot choose which one they play, making it a somewhat fiddly, luck-dependent objective rather than a simple challenge.

To complete it, players must join a Quick Match or Competitive round (Quick Match is recommended, as Competitive leaves less room to pursue side objectives) and wait until Thebes, a Convoy-mode map, is randomly selected. Apocalypse's Sarcophagus sits just outside the defending team's final spawn room, and is accessible to players on either side. Once there, performing any single emote near the sarcophagus immediately marks the achievement as complete, after which players can move on to other map-based achievements such as Emergence of Greatness and Secret Stash.
