How to get the Kokori Shield and Sword in Zelda Ocarina of Time
Link must collect a Kokiri Sword and a shield before leaving Kokiri Forest to visit the Deku Tree in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The sword is found in a chest reached through a crawlspace in the village training ground, while the Deku Shield must be bought from the shop.
The sword’s chest sits on a raised platform beside a rolling boulder; Link can avoid it in alcoves, climb a ladder and jump across. The wooden Deku Shield costs 40 Rupees and can burn, so it may need replacing.
