How to get to the top of the Prison Tower in Castlevania Belmont’s Curse

Polygon ·

Reaching the Warrior, an early boss in *Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse*, requires finding a hidden carpenter’s crane in the Prison Tower. The route to the Roof of the Tower is blocked, so players must locate the crane and use it to reach the boss.

The Prison Tower is north of the Gate to the Catacombs, then west, on the Paris Streets map. A spirit in the western Upper Tower explains the crane and provides a sketch; the crane itself is in the tower’s north-east, near the level of the Mirror of Life room. Players must swing on a wooden hexagon three times to open the crane’s door, then ride it to the roof.

  • The Warrior waits on the Prison Tower roof.
