FromSoftware has opened sign-ups for a network test of The Duskbloods, its upcoming multiplayer game, giving Nintendo Switch 2 owners a chance to try a pre-release version before launch. The test allows matches of up to eight players and is significant for fans wanting an early look at the game, though applying does not guarantee a place, as spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applications open on Wednesday 22 July at 10am EDT (3pm BST) and close on Tuesday 28 July at 9:59am EDT, via the official Duskbloods website, requiring a Nintendo account, a Switch 2 console and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. Selected participants will be announced on Friday 7 August, with preloading available from Tuesday 18 August, ahead of five four-hour play sessions running between Friday 21 and Sunday 23 August across various time slots to suit different global regions.
