Push Square · 6 hours ago

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has received a substantial update ahead of its Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC, which launches on 30 July. The patch adds new content and reworks core mechanics, marking what publisher Bandai Namco describes as the biggest update yet for the fighting game since its October 2024 release, and sets the stage for the arrival of over 30 additional playable characters.

The update introduces three new stages, a new music track, and revised game modes including Custom Battle, Offline Battle, Player Match and Survival Mode. It also overhauls the battle system with new actions such as Linked Blast and Sparking! Boost, adjustments to Ki recovery, Z-Search and melee combat, plus character-specific tweaks affecting fighters like Vegeta, Majin Duu and Ribrianne. The forthcoming DLC will add characters from across the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super franchises and films, alongside new stages and a single-player training mode.
