Hull sign goalkeeper Tzolakis for club record fee
Newly promoted Premier League side Hull City have signed Greece international goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis from Olympiacos, breaking the club's transfer record. The 23-year-old has agreed a five-year contract, marking a significant statement of intent as Hull prepare for life back in the top flight after promotion.
Although neither club has confirmed the exact figure, the fee is thought to be around £20m plus add-ons, surpassing the £13m Hull paid for Ryan Mason in 2016. Tzolakis spent his entire senior career at Olympiacos, making 131 appearances and winning eight trophies, including four Greek Super League titles and the 2023-24 Uefa Conference League, and has since earned nine caps for Greece. He said he was "excited" to join and ready to challenge himself in the Premier League.
