‘Hyena,’ Thriller Exec Produced by David Lynch, to Star Kiernan Shipka, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Edgar Ramírez and Rosemarie DeWitt

Psychological thriller *Hyena*, one of the final film projects associated with David Lynch, has announced its new cast and is due to begin filming in Spokane, Washington, in early 2027. Lynch served as executive producer and helped develop the project, which will be directed by Scott Coffey, an actor in *Mulholland Drive* and a former mentee of Lynch.

Kiernan Shipka plays Genevieve, whose new boyfriend Alexei, played by D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, unsettles her apparently ideal family and brings hidden secrets and tensions to the surface. Edgar Ramírez and Rosemarie DeWitt also star; Coffey co-wrote the screenplay with novelist Blair Mastbaum, and David Lancaster and Jeff Elliott are producing. Upgrade and WME Independent will present the film to buyers at the American Film Market.
