Idris Elba’s New MI6 Spy Series Officially Arrives in 2027

Idris Elba’s new MI6 spy thriller series, *Exiles*, is set to begin in May 2027. The first book follows an MI6 operative on dangerous missions, marking a new project for Elba as a writer rather than another screen role.

Elba co-wrote the book with bestselling author Adam Hamdy, and executive editor Julian Pavia has acquired the rights to three books in the series. The first, *Exiles*, will be published as a Bantam hardcover, with an audiobook released at the same time.
