In 2019, Christine McVie played with Fleetwood Mac for the last time. She never talked to Stevie Nicks again
Christine McVie’s final Fleetwood Mac performances were in 2019, after she returned to touring following a long break. The article says she and Stevie Nicks grew apart after the band stopped touring, though their silence did not mean they no longer cared about one another.
McVie described sitting beside Nicks and getting on well during the last tour, but said they had not spoken since the band broke up. She had health concerns and needed time away from performing; she died in 2022, a year after discussing their lost contact. The group had also brought in Neil Finn and Mike Campbell after Lindsey Buckingham left.
