Influencer accused of targeting wealthy dating app matches back behind bars
Los Angeles influencer Adva Lavie has been rearrested in Beverly Hills after authorities alleged that she removed her court-ordered ankle monitor. The arrest marks a further development in a pending criminal case in which she is accused of using dating apps to gain access to wealthy people’s homes and steal from them; she has pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors allege that, between 2023 and 2025, Lavie cultivated relationships with wealthy older men and younger women in areas including Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles and Westlake Village. She faces six felony counts, including grand theft, residential burglary and unauthorised use of personal identifying information, and could face up to 11 years and eight months in prison if convicted.
