Showing Teeth, the project led by Tennessee vocalist Addison, has rapidly progressed from TikTok deathcore covers filmed in her car to major live support slots and an upcoming debut EP. The interview highlights how viral attention, distinctive harsh and melodic vocals, and early industry backing have accelerated her entry into the alternative music scene.

Addison has released two songs, ‘Labyrinth’ and ‘Rip’, and will release debut EP ‘A Fate Worse Than Loneliness’ on 4 September through Republic Records/Spinefarm. After a small debut show in Nashville last November, she supported Beartooth before crowds of about 5,000, later joined Bring Me The Horizon anniversary shows, and is due to support President in North America; Periphery drummer Matt Halpern is also collaborating on the recordings.
