James Acaster picks his three dream ‘Celebrity Traitors’ contestants

James Acaster has named Anne Diamond, Jacob Rees-Mogg and Josh Widdicombe as his three dream contestants for Celebrity Traitors. The comedian, who was recruited as a traitor at the start of the current series, discussed his choices in an interview, offering a glimpse of the personalities he thinks could make the game compelling.

Acaster said Diamond’s competitiveness stood out after they faced each other on House of Games in 2018. He initially struggled to recall Rees-Mogg’s name, while Widdicombe is a friend he would like to see face the same experience. Acaster also recalled being buried alive during a trial with Bella Ramsey, and said it was a major fear; the full interview episode is due on YouTube on 26 October.
