Developing story first seen 3 hours ago
JENNIE has released “Someone to Hold”, a new solo song for the soundtrack of Netflix’s forthcoming animated film *Steps*. The neo-disco track, written and produced by Justin Tranter, is presented by the film’s directors as an upbeat expression of sisterhood, tying the release to the film’s reworking of Cinderella’s story.
In *Steps*, Lilith takes the Fairy Godmother’s wand and disrupts the Royal Ball, then joins forces with Cinderella to try to put things right. The film and its companion soundtrack are scheduled to arrive on Netflix on 20 November. JENNIE’s recent solo success includes “Dracula”, her remix collaboration with Tame Impala, which reached No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart.
