Amazon Prime Video's biblical drama "The Chosen" has released a teaser trailer for its sixth season, which will depict Jesus Christ's crucifixion. The show, created by Dallas Jenkins, has become a significant faith-based television phenomenon, and this instalment brings the series to what its makers describe as "the most consequential day in human history," covering Jesus's final hours through the perspectives of both his followers and those who condemned him.

Season six premieres on 15 November 2026, with the first three episodes released together followed by weekly instalments through to 6 December. The season's story concludes with a feature film due for theatrical release only on 12 March 2027. Alongside the trailer, Jenkins' production company 5&2 Studios and Capitol Christian Music Group announced a companion album inspired by the series, due out in October, featuring a lead single written by country singer Tyler Hubbard.
