Jonathan Taylor expects to be traded as rumors heat up — with Giants in mix
Colts running back Jonathan Taylor reportedly expects to be traded before the 10 November NFL deadline, with several teams, including the New York Giants, pursuing him. A move could give a contender a proven offensive playmaker, while offering Indianapolis a chance to acquire picks as it considers its longer-term plans.
Reporter James Palmer said the Giants, Vikings, Packers and Broncos had contacted Indianapolis and that offers had been made, but none yet met the Colts’ asking price. The team is reportedly seeking a package comparable to the four picks San Francisco gave Carolina for Christian McCaffrey in 2022. Taylor, 27, has two and a half seasons remaining on his contract; the 2-6 Colts say they are not obliged to trade him, and they lack a 2027 first-round pick. A prediction market put the Giants at 28 per cent to be his next team, down from 40 per cent earlier in the week.
In short
- Taylor reportedly expects a trade before the 10 November deadline.
