Progressive podcaster Jennifer Welch jokes about ‘digging up Charlie Kirk and doing it again’ in wake of Democrats huge midterm victories

Liberal podcaster Jennifer Welch joked about exhuming Charlie Kirk and killing him again while celebrating Democratic victories in the midterm elections. The remarks, made with co-host Angie Sullivan on their podcast, drew widespread criticism after clips circulated online.

The hosts laughed for more than 20 seconds at the joke before Welch said, “No comment,” then described Kirk’s alleged killer as a white MAGA supporter. The article says Tyler Robinson, 22, has been charged with Kirk’s September 2025 killing, but has not expressed MAGA views; prosecutors allege he said he acted because he had “enough of his hatred”. Several commentators condemned Welch and Sullivan’s remarks.
