Justin Timberlake Teases New Music: “I’ve Been Chef-ing”

Justin Timberlake has hinted that he is making new music in Miami, with possible collaborations involving Pharrell Williams, Quavo, Don Toliver and Timbaland. He said he and Timbaland are creating “from scratch”, apparently pushing back against talk of AI, and described the work as still in progress.

Timberlake also recounted how his 11-year-old son encouraged him to approve a “Rock Your Body” sample for Don Toliver’s song “Body”; he later joined Toliver in the studio after a Miami concert. Looking back on the 20th anniversary of *FutureSex/LoveSounds*, he said his label doubted “SexyBack”, which went on to lead the US Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks and win a Grammy in 2007.
