In Canada: Faouzia to Accept the Breakthrough Award at Billboard Canada Women in Music 2026

Faouzia will receive the Breakthrough Award Presented by FACTOR at Billboard Canada Women in Music 2026, recognising the growing success of the Moroccan-Canadian singer-songwriter. The award comes as her song “Unethical” has found a much wider audience more than a year after its release, helping lift her profile as an independent artist.

“Unethical” has reached 150 million global streams and exceeded one million Spotify streams in a single day in September. It has set a new chart peak in each of its eight weeks on the Canadian Hot 100, while its sound has featured in more than 533,000 TikTok posts and 44,000 Instagram Reels. Faouzia released her debut album, *Film Noir*, in 2025 and its deluxe edition in June; the 24 November Toronto ceremony will also honour Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and other artists and music-industry figures.
