La Creperie de Hampstead, a famous crepe stall in north London popular with celebrities including Harry Styles, Kate Moss and Kelly Brook, has been given a zero-star food hygiene rating. The stall, which has traded in the upmarket area since 1977 and is often described as a local landmark, is known for long queues and a loyal social media following, making the poor rating notable given its high profile.

The rating followed a Food Standards Agency inspection on 9 June 2026, which found "urgent improvement" was needed in the management of food safety, including ensuring food is safe to eat and that staff understand food hygiene practices. Inspectors also called for "major improvement" in the hygienic handling of food and in the cleanliness and condition of the premises, covering layout, ventilation, hand-washing facilities and pest control. Despite this, customers have continued to visit, with some social media users specifically seeking out dishes associated with celebrity fans. The stall was previously closed by council officers in 2021.
