German metal band Lacrimas Profundere will release its new album, “Lay Me Down O Silent Fear”, on 25 September 2026 via Steamhammer. The record is the band’s first full-length release in four years and follows extensive touring, including more than 100 concerts and a 2025 European support tour with Paradise Lost.

The 10-track album is presented as a broad blend of gothic rock, metalcore and heavy metal, with opening track “Days Of Doom” and debut single “O Silent Fear” highlighted. Formed 33 years ago, the band says the album represents its most ambitious work to date, drawing comparisons to artists including Amorphis, Arch Enemy, HIM and Slipknot.
