Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Laufey has signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) for global representation across all areas, including live touring, media, film and brand partnerships. The move comes as the Icelandic-Chinese artist continues a major world tour in support of her chart-topping 2025 album "A Matter of Time", cementing her status as one of the industry's fastest-rising crossover stars.

Both "A Matter of Time", which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, and her earlier record "Bewitched" (2023) won Grammy Awards for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Laufey has also received significant recognition beyond music, including Iceland's Knight's Cross of the Order of the Falcon, a place on Time magazine's 2025 Women of the Year list, and Variety's Crossover Artist of the Year award in 2024. Despite her jazz training and influences, she has said she resists being labelled purely a jazz artist, describing her sound as difficult to categorise between jazz and pop.
