Lauren Alaina & Chase Matthew’s ‘Exes’ Takes the Pair to No. 1 on Country Airplay

Lauren Alaina and Chase Matthew’s “All My Exes” has reached No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart, giving them their fourth and second chart-toppers respectively. The song’s rise continues a growing trend of collaborations reaching the top, though their share of No. 1s has varied widely from year to year.

For the chart dated 24 October, “All My Exes” climbed four places with 31 million audience impressions, up 28% on the previous week. It is the third collaborative No. 1 this year, following songs by Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen, and Shaboozey and Jelly Roll. Since the chart began in 1990, collaborations account for 8% of its 998 No. 1s; Chris Janson and David Lee Murphy’s “Fun” also debuts at No. 60.
