Leeds go two points clear with win over Bradford

BBC Sport · 3 hours ago

Leeds Rhinos moved two points clear at the top of the Super League table with a commanding 42-12 victory over Yorkshire rivals Bradford Bulls at Headingley. The win allowed Leeds to bounce back strongly from their previous defeat to Castleford Tigers, while Bradford's poor form continued as they slipped to a sixth loss in seven league matches.

James McDonnell scored twice on his 100th Super League appearance for Leeds, who crossed for seven tries in total, with further scores from O'Connor, Holroyd, Croft, Jenkins and Watkins, plus seven goals from Connor. Leeds suffered a setback when top try scorer Maika Sivo went off in the first half with a suspected broken arm. Bradford, who had taken an early lead through Guy Armitage, also scored through Ryan, with Hooley adding two goals.
